Please note that we are rural. Our field is not all lovely and manicured. It has lumps and bumps (but don't we all) our crew will point you to the designated camping areas. Find a patch, pitch up, get set up and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We are in a dark sky area, so bring a torch, to keep the sky dark we will not be lighting the campsite. This way if your lucky the Stars will shine brightly for you!!
Please no Glass at all as the field is used by livestock. We don't want to be kill joys, but we do have to take care, so no open fires. Look after each other, have fun and enjoy this unique place.
Those of you interested in the history of this historic lead mining village will have the opportunity to learn more. If you do explore, please remember old mine areas have hidden features, so keep your eyes wide open!
We have a fully stocked bar in the arena, we are keeping the prices as low as we can. Real ale, ciders, lager and spirits. We will also have some great wines on sale. Please feel free to bring your favorite drinking horn, goblet or even an old festival plastic. No booze to be brought into the arena please, we need your money, to keep the cost of tickets down next year.
Food will be available from our authentic South African Braai, we'll be cooking great meat and boerewors and other sausages. We will have great options for those that don't eat meat, so don't worry, you won't starve. The all important morning refuel. "Brekkie & Bevvie" will be served at the pub from 8.30am - 10am, proper breakie sarnies on thick bread and lashings of hot tea & coffee, all at sensible prices.
